2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that the investigation has been completed and the case has been closed as 'action dropped'.

3. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Thus, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
