ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents to grant permission to celebrate the Vinayagar Chathurthi Festival and to place Vinayagar Idols Temporarily in the premises of Arulmigu Sri Vinayagar Temple in Malaichamy Puram Colony, Sempatti, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District that is scheduled from 07.09.2024 to 08.09.2024 based on the writ petitioner representation dated 02.09.2024 sent through post within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit 2/4

that they have already rejected the writ petitioner's representation dated 02.09.2024 on the ground that permission was granted to some other group. He would further submit that if any fresh representation is given, the respondent police are ready to consider the same.

4. Recording the same, the writ petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation before the second respondent today itself and on receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the writ petitioner's representation and pass orders on or before 06.09.2024.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
