ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to enhance the educational loan, sanction and disburse a sum of Rs.1,24,500/- (Rupees One Lakh Twenty Four Thousand and Five Hundred only) to the writ petitioner.
2. According to the petitioner, he is studying in second year of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at Sai Jothi Polytechnic College. The respondent Bank has already sanctioned a sum of Rs.47,500/- (Rupees Forty Seven Thousand and Five Hundred only) towards the educational loan. However, the petitioner sought for enhancement of the said educational loan to the additional cost of Rs.1,24,500/- (Rupees One 2/4
Lakh Twenty Four Thousand and Five Hundred only). However, the said request was not considered. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. According to the learned counsel for the respondent, the educational loan was sought for, for the academic year 2013-14. Since the period has already over and nine years have elapsed, no further orders are required to be passed.
4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. 09.09.2022 Index :
