O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed by a Village Assistant seeking a Mandamus to direct the second respondent to declare the completion of her probationary period and enter the same in her service book and treat the period between 18.01.2017 and 02.10.2017 as duty period and confer the consequential benefits.

2. According to the petitioner, she was appointed as Village Assistant on 14.12.2016. Pursuant to the interim order passed by this Court, the petitioner was discharged from service on 18.01.2017. Ultimately, when the writ petition came to be dismissed, the petitioner was permitted to re-join duty on 02.10.2017. However, so far the probation of the petitioner has not been declared. Seeking the said benefits, the petitioner has sent a representation to the second respondent on 24.05.2023. Since the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 2/4

Considering the above said facts, the second respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 24.05.2023 in the light of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.25521 of 2023, dated 09.11.2023 with regard to the similarly placed persons and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
