Heard Ms. Ashwini, learned counsel for Mr. P.Santhoshkumar, learned counsel for the petitioner on record and Mr. A.K. Manikkam learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. The petitioners' prayer for a mandamus directing the respondents to implement orders passed in W.P.(MD) No. 5488 of 2006 and W.P.(MD) No. 5489 of 2006 dated 15.02.2016 stands achieved by virtue of order dated 31.10.2019, whereunder the petitioners have been granted regularisation of services from 05.06.1973 as sought for by them and as ordered by this court in the aforesaid writ petitions.

3. With the passing of the aforesaid order, these petitions are rendered infructuous. The writ petitions are closed. No costs.
