COMMON ORDER The School Education Department has filed these review applications to review the orders dated 08.07.2025 dismissing W.A(MD)Nos.1859 to 1862 of 2025.
2.The matter pertains to approval of appointments of non-teaching staff in the respondent school.
3.The learned Additional Advocate General would point out that during the relevant time the school was under direct payment system. The department had not approved any particular person as the secretary of the School. There was an inter se dispute between two persons, both of whom 5/8
claimed to be the secretary. Each of them had made their own sets of appointments. He therefore contended that this Court ought not to have granted approval to only one set of appointments made by one particular claimant.
4.No doubt this submission is quite persuasive. However, the aggrieved individual has to be the rival claimant and not the department. In this view of the matter, we decline to review our earlier orders. The appellants are directed to comply with the order of the learned single Judge within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.These Review Applications are dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
