ORDER
Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2. The writ petitioner joined the respondent corporation as conductor in the year 1998. He retired from service on 30.06.2019. His terminal benefits were disbursed only on 24.01.2021. On such belated disbursement, the petitioner is entitled to 6%.
3. Therefore, the respondent is directed to pay interest to the writ petitioner at the rate of 6% per annum for the delay period from 01.07.2019 to 24.01.2021. This amount shall be paid within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
