ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to survey and demarcate the property comprised in Survey No. 143/1B1C, measuring an extent of 25.9 cents, situated in Palapathiraramapuram Village, Veerakeralampudur Taluk, Tenkasi District.

Heard the arguments of Mr.R.J.Karthick, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi, learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the third respondent. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, the subject property was settled in her favour under a settlement deed dated 14.02.2024, and patta for the same was issued in her name under Patta No. 4390. She submitted an application on 08.04.2025 in Application No. 2025/0123/34/005733 seeking a survey 2/5

of the subject property. However, the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the application of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law.

5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 08.04.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, neighbouring landowners, and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
