ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner took away a file in the year 2019 along with the change of vakalat. It appears that the writ petition has been filed only for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to conduct a fresh auction in collection of the Hundial from the vendors of the weekly market, Kalaiyarkovil, Sivagangai District, by inviting tenders and wide paper publication within a time stipulated period. There was a stay granted in favour of the petitioner.

2. Considering the fact that the petitioner has engaged a new counsel after taking the papers back from the counsel who was engaged originally but has not filed a fresh vakalat of the new counsel, I am inclined to vacate the stay and dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution. No costs. Consquently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
