ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to release the document, which is registered in Document No.468/2015, dated 05.11.2014 and registered on 05.11.2014.

2. According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the said document has been referred under Section 47-A of the Indian Stamp Act and the proceedings are pending before the first respondent herein for more than seven years. A perusal of the typed set of papers indicate that Form 1 has been issued as early as on 27.03.2015, so far the proceedings have not been concluded.

3. In view of the above said fact, this Court passes the following order:

"The first respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and complete the same on or before 31.12.2022. In case, if the enquiry is not completed, the second respondent is directed to release the documents."

4. With the above said observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 30.09.2022 Index :
