Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.A6/33053/19 dated 09.11.2021 and the second respondent in Na.Ka.(A7) 140/2019, dated 19.11.2019 and quash the same and direct the respondents 1 & 2 to issue the patta to the petitioner according to law.

This writ petition is filed challenging the order of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Trichy in Na.Ka.(A7) 140/2019, dated 19.11.2019 and the order of the District Revenue Officer, Trichy in Na.Ka.No.A6/33053/19 dated 09.11.2021.

2.The respondents have received notice in this writ petition and the second respondent has filed the counter affidavit. 3.After filing of the counter affidavit, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the prayer of this writ petition needs to be amended and seeks permission of this Court to file necessary application for amendment.

4.Since the petitioner's counsel sought for permission for amendment of prayer, after filing of the counter affidavit, this Court is not inclined to grant any such permission. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a writ petition afresh. No costs.
