ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the alleged offence under Sections 120(b), 406 and 420 of IPC, in Crime No.7 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused had received a sum of Rs.24,50,000/- from the defacto complainant by giving assurance to 1/3
arrange job and thereafter, he cheated him. Hence, the complaint.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material records of the case.
4. Considering the fact that the innocent victims were made to run village after village taking sensus for a non-existence scheme and all the accused jointly conspired and cheated the victims, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.
