1, 2, 4 & 7 for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 283, 269, 270 IPC and Section 71 A(1) of the Tamil Nadu City Police Act, 1888. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent has submitted that further action has been dropped and final report has also been filed on 12.08.2021 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Madurai.

3.In view of the same, this Court is of the view that since the purpose for which the petitioner has filed this petition, has already been fulfilled on account of closure of the case, no further direction needs to be given in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
