ORDER

The petitioner alleges harassment at the hands of the second respondent. To forbear the respondent police from doing so, this criminal original petition has been filed.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that complaint has been received from the third respondent against the petitioner and that the petitioner is not cooperating with the investigation. The petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent. The following directions are issued to the second respondent : (i) The petitioner will be summoned only by way of writing. There is no question of orally summoning the petitioner.

(ii)The second respondent will conclude the enquiry on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks after the appearance of the petitioner. (iii) If the matter is civil in nature, the second respondent will close the complaint.
