ORDER
This writ petition is disposed of at the time of admission after hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 3 and the learned standing counsel for the second respondent and after after dispensing with the notice on the fourth respondent, as no adverse orders are proposed to be passed against the fourth respondent in this writ petition.

2.Suffice to state that the petitioner and the fourth respondent are running their industrial units adjacent to each other. 3.It is the case of the petitioner that the fourth respondent is polluting the water by letting out effluent from the refining process carried out by the fourth respondent.
4.It is noticed that the petitioner has sent a representation earlier on 15.07.2024 to the first respondent, who, by an order dated 02.09.2024, had directed the second respondent to cause an inspection and to take appropriate steps.
5.It appears that the second respondent had also inspected the premises on 13.11.2024 and has thereafter, referred the matter back to the third respondent to take appropriate action.

6.It is submitted that in the proceeding/communication, dated 25.11.2024, the second respondent has also concluded that the fourth respondent is carrying on the manufacturing activity without permission of the third respondent and therefore, the third respondent should take appropriate action against the fourth respondent under Section 25 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.
7.The learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 and 3, on the other hand, would submit that since the Unit is located within the jurisdiction of the third respondent, the petitioner's representations, dated 15.07.2024 and 15.07.2025 and the orders passed by the respondents 1 and 2 mentioned above will be considered and disposed of after due notice to the fourth respondent. 8.Recording the same, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to do the needful, based on the aforesaid representations of the petitioner, dated 15.07.2024 and 15.07.2025 after due notice to the fourth respondent. It is made clear that the entire exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4/6
9.With the aforesaid directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
