the investigation in Crime No.99 of 2023, which is registered against the petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 294(b) and 323 IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that so far 10 witnesses have been examined and the police are in the process of completion of the investigation and within short time, they will complete the investigation and file the charge sheet. The same is recorded.
3.Accordingly, this Petition is disposed of directing the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the charge sheet in Crime No.99 of 2023 as quickly as possible, not later than 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
