ORDER
The petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to send call for letter to his son Karthikraja to appear in the counselling for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses for the academic year 2018-2019 under the seats earmarked for Special Categories of Children of Ex-Service Men in Government Colleges. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, by producing a copy of the position note, submitted that the counselling was conducted and the petitioner's son has not come within the zone of consideration, as he has not scored the cut off marks prescribed. That apart, the counselling scheduled for the academic year 2018-2019 is already over and hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter.
