O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents Police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry in respect of a complaint given by the third respondent who is the mother of the petitioner.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the third respondent who has executed a settlement deed in favour of the petitioner has sold the property for higher price, for which, the dispute arouse and a writ petition was filed by the petitioner before this Court and thereafter, the third respondent has filed a false complaint, basing on which, the respondents 1 and 2 have been harassing the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the official respondents, on the other hand, submits that the petitioner has thrown the third respondent who is the mother of the petitioner out of the house and even though this Court has directed him to give maintenance, he is not giving the maintenance and accordingly, the third respondent has filed a complaint and thereby, the Police have been making enquiry. 2/4

In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the official respondents, the respondents 1 and 2 Police are directed to make an enquiry in respect of the grievance of the third respondent, keeping in view of Senior Citizens Act and dispose of the same as quickly as possible not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
