PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay 6% interest for the belated payment of terminal benefits - unavailed leave salary, payable to the petitioner from the date of petitioner's retirement i.e 31.03.2019 to till the date of actual payment made to the petitioner i.e 22.01.2021 and all other attendant benefits to the petitioner, within the stipulated period.

O R D E R

This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to pay 6% interest for the belated payment of terminal benefits to the petitioner, based on his representation dated 22.01.2021. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that interest amount has been credited to the petitioner's account and hence the matter has become infructuous. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.
