ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the second respondent to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioners from the respondents 3 to 7.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the first petitioner has given a representation on 02.09.2024 before the first respondent and file the present petition on the same day. He would further submit that earlier the second petitioner, who is the wife of the first petitioner, has given a representation on 01.09.2024 and on that basis, CSR No.574 of 2024 came to be registered and is pending for enquiry.

3. Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to issue summons to the petitioners as well as to the private respondents and conduct enquiry and take a decision with a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
