The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the respondent police to file a final 1/4

report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Kulithalai, Karur District in Crime No.23 of 2023 within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the seventh accused has filed a petition in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.1417 of 2024 for quashing the present FIR and this Court vide order dated 31.01.2024 directed the respondent police to proceed with the investigation but not to file final report till the disposal of the criminal original petition and is pending.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
