ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the respondent in his proceedings in letter No.U.Ka.A/Va.P/Thurai/Ka.May. 8/Ko.Ka.Tho./A.No.336/2018 dated 25.06.2018 and set aside the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondent to accept the petitioner's request and allow him to pay the Security deposit on three installment basis and restore the service connection in No.06-277-001-893, in the petitioner's Ganesh Steel Rolling Mill at Pulivalam main Road, Thuraiyur, Trichy District.

2. The petitioner is running a Steel Rolling Mill. He has filed this writ petition as against the communication of the TANGEDCO, directing this petitioner to pay additional current consumption deposit of Rs.57,560/- in the year 2018. As against that order, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. When this writ petition is taken up for hearing, learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent, based on a written instruction, which he received from the respondent, states that this additional current consumption deposit demanded in the impugned order dated 25.06.2018 was already paid by this petitioner on three installments on 19.09.2018 and 23.11.2018 and his service connection No.277-001-893 which was disconnected on 27.01.2022 for non-payment of consumption charges for the month of December, 2021 was also restored.

4. Recording the written instructions produced by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent, this writ petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy, if any, in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
