This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the representation, dated 18.09.2021 seeking for appointment of the Petitioner as Junior Assistant on compassionate grounds w.e.f. 5.2.2020 by taking into account the educational qualification of the Petitioner and by extending the benefit of G.O.Ms.No.1499 of Labour and Employment Department, dated 3.8.1989 and G.O.Ms.No.206, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, dated 2/6

2.Only the fifth respondent alone has filed counter in this Writ Petition. Admittedly, representation of the Petitioner as referred to above has not been considered by the respondents. 3.Hence, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the Petitioner's representation, directs the fifth respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the Petitioner's representation, dated 18.09.2021 seeking for appointment of the Petitioner as junior Assistant on compassionate grounds w.e.f.5.2.2020 by taking into consideration the Petitioners qualification and by extending the benefit of G.O.Ms.No.1499 of Labour and Employment Department, dated 3.8.1989 and G.O.Ms.No.206, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, dated 2.11.1995 within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the aforesaid directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
