COMMON ORDER The petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13155 of 2025 is said to have purchased 5 acres of land at Keeranur village, Melur, Madurai District for the purpose of establishing solar power plant. However, the third respondent, who is the petitioner in WP.(MD)No.14172 of 2025, is disturbing with the project and demanded a sum of Rs.1 Crore. Therefore, the petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13155 of 2025 has filed the said petition seeking a direction to the respondent Police to provide Police protection. The third respondent in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13155 of 2025 has also filed a writ petition in WP.(MD)No.14172 of 2025 seeking a direction to the respondent Police not to interfere in the civil dispute. 2.According to the third respondent in criminal original petition / petitioner in writ petition, he is in occupation of the subject property. However, he is not in a position to establish the same. On the other hand, the petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13155 of 2025 claims that he is having valid registered document and the revenue records stand in his name.

3.Since all the revenue records stand in the name of the petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13155 of 2025, the respondent Police is directed to provide necessary Police protection to the petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD)No. 13155 of 2025. In the event, if the petitioner in WP.(MD)No.14172 of 2025 is having any grievance, he has to workout his remedy before the appropriate forum. Accordingly, the criminal original petition and the writ petition are disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
