ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to furnish a copy of the assignment order issued in favour of the petitioner's father in respect of the property bearing Plot No.43 comprised in Survey No. 970/4B situated at Kambaneri Pudukudi Division-II Kadayanallur Taluk, Tenkasi District by considering petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2025.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.T.Leninkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the aforesaid property was assigned in favour of his father, Esakkipadaiyachi, son of Iyyamperumal Padayachi, in the year 1993. The said assignment document was subsequently misplaced. Hence, the petitioner submitted the instant 2/5
representation on 18.07.2025, seeking issuance of a copy of the assignment order. However, the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, submits that, at the time of assignment, the property was situated in Tirunelveli District. However, it now falls within the jurisdiction of Tenkasi District. Therefore, he requests that sufficient time may be granted to consider the petitioner's representation.
5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
