O R D E R

The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to conclude the proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 3247/2024/A1, dated 27.06.2025.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. Since no adverse order is passed against the fourth respondent, notice to him is dispensed with.

3.The Petitioner herein submitted an application before the second respondent seeking cancellation of the free house site patta issued in favour of fourth respondent in respect of the property in 1501/19, situated at Athoor Taluk, Dindigul District. Based on the application submitted by the Petitioner, the second respondent initiated proceedings in Na.Ka.No.3247/2024/A1, dated 27.6.2025 and the same is still pending. Therefore, the Petitioner filed the instant Writ Petition to direct the second respondent to conclude the proceedings initiated by him within the time stipulated by this Court.

4.Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader who appears for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the proceedings initiated by the second respondent will be concluded within the time stipulated by this Court.

5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to conclude the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.3247/2024/A1, dated 27.6.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits after affording reasonable opportunity to the Petitioner and fourth respondent, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of a copy of this order. 6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
