ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition, challenging the proceedings dated 30.04.2018 of the first respondent Tahsildar in a peace committee meeting conducted by him in the year 2018 and also sought for a direction to implement the decision which were taken in the peace committee meeting on 31.10.2015.

2. The peace committee meeting was conducted in the year 2018 for conducting a temple festival in Pattalamman Temple in Survey No. 131, 129 (Mandai), E-Alamarathupatti, Eesanatham Village, Aravakuruchi Taluk, Karur District, in the year 2018. The Tahsildar is not having any statutory powers, to conduct the peace committee meeting. Considering the period and the relief sought for, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition.

3. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed. 02.01.2024 NCC :
