PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to take appropriate action against the fourth respondent as per section 205 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 05.01.2015, within a time frame that may be fixed by this court.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the District Collector cum Inspector of Village Panchayat to initiate action as against the Vice President (fourth respondent) of the Samuthiram Village Panchayat under Section 205 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994. The tenure of the fourth respondent had expired. Hence, nothing survives in the present writ petition.

2. In view of the above said facts, the writ petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
