PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to effect alteration of date of birth of the petitioner in the service register of petitioner as 16.03.1968 instead of 30.05.1966 on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 10.08.2020 as directed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.(MD).No.13716 of 2020 dated 06.10.2020.

ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by an Assistant Professor of a Government Arts College, seeking a mandamus directing the first respondent to effect alteration of date of birth of the petitioner in the service register as 16.03.1968 instead of 30.05.1966, based on the representation of the petitoner dated 10.08.2020.

2. This Court had already dealt with a similar issue in WP.(MD).No.2844 of 2024 dated 11.12.2024, disposed of the writ petition.

3. Therefore, in the light of the order passed by this Court in WP.(MD).No.2844 of 2024, dated 11.12.2024, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
