Prayer: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P. (MD)No.31347 of 2025 dated 06.01.2025.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was delivered by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.) This contempt petition is filed stating that the order of this Court dated 06.01.2025 was not complied by the respondent.

2.The order, which is alleged to have not been complied with, is in respect of laying a road leading to the cremation ground at Ettunazhipudhur, Vidathakulam, Thirumangalam Taluk.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there is a violation in the breadth of the road and hence, the respondents have committed contempt. 4.The learned Government Pleader states that the road has been laid only in accordance with the tender conditions without any variation. 2/4
