The prayer in the Writ Petition is seeking to direct the respondents to include the petitioner's patta land under S.No.200/6 and 7 of Melapidavoor Village, Manamadurai Circle, Sivagangai District in the Adangal Book entries by removing the wrong caption of 'Poromboke' and to direct the respondents to collect Kist from the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's father has purchased the land and patta has been issued in the name of the petitioner's father. However, after the death of the petitioner's father, the petitioner came to know that the land was classified as 'Poromboke' in the Adangal extract. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 09.03.2015 to the first respondent seeking to rectify the mistake. As the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has approached this Court.

3. Considering the relief sought for in the Writ Petition, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the first respondent herein within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, including all the relevant documents in respect of his claim and if any such representation is made, the first respondent after offering an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, shall pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of such representation.

4. With the above said direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
