ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/ Accused apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences under Sections 328 of IPC, Section 6(b) and 24(1) of Cigarette and other Tobacco Products Acts, 2003, in Crime No.275 of 2023, on the file of the 1/3

respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution as per the defacto complainant's version is that on 15.08.2023, when the respondent police were conducted check up, on receiving a secret information, the petitioner and other accused persons were found in illegal possession of banned Tobacco products in two wheelers, worth about Rs.44,280/-. Hence the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent, he has been falsely implicated in this case and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner has involved in 14 previous cases.

5.Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant relief to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
