This writ petition was filed challenging the Special Assessment Notice No.533 and the Proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 2479/2014/A.1, dated 19.03.2015 issued by the Commissioner, Sankarankoil Municipality, directing the petitioner to pay the property tax due to the respondent Municipality. 2.Today(02.11.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has filed a memo stating that total demand made by the respondent Municipality as per the notice, dated 31.10.2023 is Rs.10,90,545/- and pending this writ petition, pursuant to the interim order granted by this Court on 30.04.2015, the petitioner has made the following payments to the respondent Municipality:- S.No.

The memo filed by the petitioner is recorded. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has cleared the entire dues to the respondent Municipality and as on date there is no balance amount.

4.The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent Municipality has also confirmed the receipt of payment from the petitioner.

5.Recording the memo filed by the petitioner, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
