PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent 1 to 3 to survey the petitioner property and demarcate the four boundaries in Survey No.1071/2 situated at R.Pudhukottai Village, Gujiliamparai Thaluk, Dindigul District with aid of 4th respondent consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 serve the report of the same to petitioner based on petitioner Application dated 23.05.2025 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to survey her property comprised in S.No. 1071/2 in R.Pudhukottai Village, Gujiliamparai Thaluk, Dindigul District, by considering her application dated 23.05.2025.

2.Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) takes notice for the fourth respondent. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents 5 to 7, notice to them is dispensed with. 3.The petitioner claims right over the subject property under the settlement deed, dated 01.07.2022. The patta for the subject property stands in the name of the petitioner in patta No.4371. She submitted an application on 23.05.2025 in application No.2025/0123/13/012437 seeking survey of the property, but the same has not been considered. Hence, she has come before this Court.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with the law. 5.In the view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the official respondents are directed to consider the 3/5
application of the petitioner dated 23.05.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, respondents 5 to 7 herein, neighboring land owners and other interested parties. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
