ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to number the revision petition filed by the petitioner against the order passed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.(A4) 2329/2017 dated 13.12.2017 and dispose the same within time fixed by this Court. 2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3.According to the petitioner, he purchased a land measuring to an extent of 18 cents in Survey No.423/2B2 situated at Kavalakurichi Village, Alangulam Taluk, Tirunelveli District. Since one Madasamy disturbed the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the said property, the petitioner filed a suit which went upto second appeal stage in S.A.No.1325 of 1996 wherein it was not stated that the said property belonged to the said Madasamy. However, he approached the third respondent to include his name in the patta bearing No.2817 in respect of Survey No.423/2B2 and the same was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.14690 of 2018 forwarded to the second respondent who in turn passed a proceedings in Na.Ka.No.A4/2329/2017 dated 13.12.2017 which according to the petitioner is against the law. Therefore, the petitioner filed revision petition before the first respondent which is not numbered so far. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition.
4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that now Tirunelveli District has been bifurcated as Tirunelveli District and Tenkasi District and after bifurcation, the jurisdiction of the first respondent vest with the District Revenue Officer, Tenkasi District, Tenkasi. 5.This Court, without going into the merits of the case and considering the submission of the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, directs the first respondent to forward the papers to the District Revenue Officer, Tenkasi District, Tenkasi, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already numbered the review petition and on receipt of the same, the District Revenue Officer, Tenkasi District, Tenkasi, shall number the same within a period of 90 days thereafter.
6.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
