This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents herein to look in to the grievance of the petitioner expressed in the representation dated 26.09.2022 and thereby accord permission to conduct the 'Kabadi Match' by 'Ramraj Memorial Club Kabadi Team and Sports Club' and to provide adequate Police Protection on 01.10.2022 at 10 P.M till 10 P.M to 03.10.2022 (Day and Night Match) at Manthai Thidal Nemam, 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) takes notice for the respondents and would submit that there is a School within a distance of 400 meters from the proposed place for conducting Kabadi. But the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the School is 7.5 kilometers away from the proposed place for conducting Kabadi. However, the respondent police is present before this Court and she also submitted that spot inspection was conducted by the Inspector of Police 2/5

and he found the School within 400 meters.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Court directs the petitioner to find an alternative place and make a fresh representation to the third respondent and if any such fresh representation is being made, the same shall be disposed of as per the Circular that was issued by Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, Chennai, in Rc.007301/Genl.I (1)/2019, dated 09.04.2019, 4.With the above said directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
