... Respondents Prayer: Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct respondents 3 to 5 to not to harass the petitioner by way of compelling him to execute bond without following the mandatory procedure set out under Chapter VIII of the Criminal Procedure Code.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2. This criminal original petition has been filed for forbearing the respondent police from harassing the petitioner 1/3
herein.
3. The petitioner is having a number of criminal cases to his credit. The petitioner alleges that the respondent police are compelling him to execute security bond under Chapter VIII of Cr.P.C., even without following due process of law. He would allege that his family members are being harassed.
4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate on instructions gives an undertaking that they would follow due process of law, if they want to obtain any security bond from the petitioner.
5. I direct the respondents to not to harass the petitioner and his family members. This criminal original petition is allowed on these terms.
