PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order dated in G.O.Ms.No.333, General (L&O-F) Department, dated 26.03.2015, on the file of the first respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the respondents 1 and 2 transfer the petitioner's father namely Selvam @ Varichiyur Selvam aged about 47 years, Son of Karuppiah from Puzhal Central Prison to Madurai Central Prison.

This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order dated in G.O.Ms.No.333, General (L&O-F) Department, dated 26.03.2015, on the file of the first respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the respondents 1 and 2 transfer the petitioner's father namely Selvam @ Varichiyur Selvam aged about 47 years, Son of Karuppiah from Puzhal Central Prison to Madurai Central Prison. 2/5

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation on the side of the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents represented that the petitioner was shifted by prison order from one prison to another prison, while he was in custody and further, already he got bail came out of the prison. Since the matter is pertaining to the order of the year 2015, now, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

4. In view of the same and considering that the petitioner was released on bail, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
