PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, direct the respondents to take necessary action on the basis of the representation dated 26.08.2013 within the stipulated time.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation, dated 26.08.2013.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the electricity service connection was standing in the name of the writ petitioner's husband, namely Ramar. His cousin brother, namely Sadayandi is residing in the same building. According to the petitioner, the service connection standing in the name of her husband is being 2/5

misused by the fourth respondent herein. Hence, she has given a representation to the respondent authorities to initiate action for theft of energy.

3. According to the respondents 2 and 3, an enquiry has been conducted based upon the complaint lodged by the writ petitioner. They have found that there is no theft of energy and closed the said enquiry.

4. In view of the above said facts, no further orders are required in the writ petition. Hence, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. 27.09.2022 Index :
