O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed to forbear the respondent police from harassing the petitioner herein. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the petitioner is having bad antecedents. A history sheet has also been opened against the petitioner. He also passed on a copy of the FIR in Crime No.89 of 2021 registered on the file of Pettaivaithalai Police Station, Trichy. The complaint was given by none other then Deputy Director of Income Tax Department. 3.It is stated that the petitioner is a prominent political functionary.
