2. Heard both sides. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the subject property belongs to her. She has also got service connection to the different houses and all the meters boxes have been fixed in the common wall. Since the said common wall was damaged, the petitioner has given application to shift the meter boxes to her own property. 2/4

However, the third respondent, who is the brother-in-law of the petitioner, has objected the same apprehending that the existing service connection may be disconnected. According to the writ petitioner, she never intends to disconnect the existing electricity connection and that connection also stands in the name of the third respondent.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit the petitioner is ready to shift the meter boxes from the common wall to the private property of the petitioner without disconnecting the existing connection.

5. In such view of the matter, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to shift the petition mentioned meter boxes to the other place as requested by the petitioner and ensure that existing connection to the third respondent shall not be disconnected.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 10.09.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Rmk 3/4
