Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the Appeal of the petitioner in Na.Ka.No.B11/49346/2022 within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner's father Abdul Muthalif made an application dated 05.08.2022 before the respondents stating that there are certain wrong entries made during the UDR Survey and requesting them to rectify the same. Since the petitioner's father died on 14.09.2022 and there was no response on the said application, the petitioner has filed this writ petition for early disposal of the said application.

2. Mr.G.V.Vairam Santhosh, learned Additional Government Pleader, on written instructions, submits that based on the said application, enquiry proceedings has been initiated and enquiry is 2/4

scheduled to be conducted on 21.09.2023 and after the completion of enquiry, orders would be passed within a reasonable time.

3. This Court considered the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader

4. Though the petitioner's father filed the application on 05.08.2022, the respondents have acted upon it, only after the filing of this writ petition. Now, the date of enquiry is fixed as 21.09.2023.

5. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to conclude the proceedings as expeditiously as possible, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
