Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 in Crime No.233 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner is involved in theft of river sand. In the present case, 3 units of river sand was caught along with the vehicle. The petitioner has got three previous cases also. When the petitioner is choosing to plunder Mother Nature repeatedly and when he was arrested only on 27/8/2024 for the present I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
