ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a retired employee of the first respondent Transport Corporation seeking a Mandamus to pass appropriate orders and remove the name of the second respondent as nominee from the service and pension records.

2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, after the death of his first wife, he entered into a marriage agreement with the second respondent. Based upon the said agreement, the name of the second respondent was entered into in the service records. According to the petitioner, the said agreement has also been cancelled. Hence, he has sent a representation on 26.05.2025 to the first respondent to delete the name of the second respondent as a nominee from the service and pension records. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the first respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 26.05.2025 and pass 2/4

orders, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing an opportunity to the second respondent.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
