ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by an aspirant to the post of Lecturer in the second respondent aided Polytechnic College under Scheduled Caste category.

2. According to the writ petitioner, though she had participated in the written examination conducted by the second respondent College on 08.08.2023, she has not been called for the interview. She has expressed apprehension with regard to the manner in which the papers have been valued and the marks have been awarded. She has further stated that she apprehends mal-practice in conducting the examination and the selection process. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to release the mark statement in a transparent manner within a stipulated time.

3. On receipt of notice from this Court, the second respondent Polytechnic College has addressed a letter to the writ petitioner on 29.09.2023, informing the method of selection, marks obtained by the writ petitioner and 2/5

the procedure that was followed in the interview for selection of candidates. As per the said information, the petitioner had secured 16 out of 50 marks in the written examination and the cut-off mark for being called for the interview under the Scheduled Caste category is 24 out of 50. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner was not called for the interview.

4. Since request made by the writ petitioner in the writ petition had already been complied with by the second respondent aided College, no further orders are called for in the present writ petition. It is for the petitioner to work out her remedies in a manner known to law.

5. With the above said observation, this writ petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
