This writ petition has been filed to direct the Respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that now almost five years have been lapsed and hence due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered.

3.However, the petitioner is at liberty to lodge a fresh complaint, on fresh cause of action.
