Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue house tax receipt to the petitioner in respect of Survey No.175/1C situated at Keela Veeranam, Veerakeralampudur Taluk, Tenkasi District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.09.2021 within a time frame stipulated by this Court. ******************** Mr.S.Selvakumar, learned counsel on record for the lone writ petitioner, Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of first respondent and Mr.N.GA.Natraj, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of respondents 2 and 3 are before this Court.

Learned counsel for writ petitioner submits that captioned main writ petition pertains to issue of house tax receipt in respect of a 'property situate at Survey No.175/1C in Keela Veeranam, Veerakeralampudur Taluk, Tenkasi District' (hereinafter referred to as 'said property' for the sake of convenience and clarity). Notwithstanding the slightly expansive prayer, learned counsel for writ petitioner submits in the hearing that he abridges the prayer and it will suffice if there is a simple mandamus to the second respondent to dispose of writ petitioner's representation dated 1/5
11.09.2021 which has been duly received by the second respondent on 13.09.2021.
3. To be noted, the clean copy of his representation dated 11.09.2021 together with postal receipts and postal acknowledgment cards are as follows:

4. Learned State counsel for the first respondent and learned counsel for respondents 2 and 3 submit that owing to the abridged prayer, the representation of the writ petitioner can be considered on its own merits.
5. Therefore without expressing any view or opinion on the merits of the matter, captioned main writ petition is disposed of with a simple mandamus/directive to second respondent to consider, pass orders/dispose of writ petitioner's aforementioned dated 11.09.2021 representation on its own merits in accordance with law as expeditiously as the business of the second respondent would permit and in any event within one month from today i.e., on or before 30.12.2021. The proceedings/orders of second respondent disposing of writ petitioner's aforementioned representation shall be communicated to the writ petitioner under due acknowledgment within seven working days from the date of disposal. There shall be no order as to costs.
