O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to re-enter the name of petitioner's father Mr.Arasan in the revenue records in T.S.No.1/106 in Block No.07, Ward No.AQ in Trichy Corporation, within K.Sathanur Village, Trichy East Taluk by removing the name of Mr.Silamban, S/o.Silamban within the time that may be fixed by this Court by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the materials available on record.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the third respondent submitted that the third respondent will consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation in accordance with law. 2/5

4.In view of the above submission, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2023 after conducting an inquiry, which shall include issuing notice to the petitioner and any other persons who may be affected and considering any objections submitted by them. The third respondent shall thereafter pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of any rival claims, the same shall be agitated before the competent civil court. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
