ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the respondent to dispose the petitioner's application regarding transfer of patta, dated 03.08.2024 in respect to the property comprised in Survey Nos.298/6B and 277/2A at Kombaipatti Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District and for other reliefs.

2. When the matter was called, on instructions from Mr.J.Moorthy, Zonal Deputy Tahsildar, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindugul, the learned Additional Government Pleader informed that the online application which was received on 03.08.2024 has been dismissed on the very same day. The same has apparently not been communicated to the petitioner and there is no speaking order.

3. For the aforesaid reason, the order passed on 03.08.2024 is set aside and a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 03.08.2024 and pass orders after affording an opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of four (4)

weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
