PRAYER:- Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents No.1 and 2 to disburse the petitioner's leave encashment salary and special provident fund to be paid in connection with his service as Senior Inspector (Estt. No.65 in Estt. list as on 01.01.2011) as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulation as prescribed by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner has sought a mandamus directing the respondents to disburse his leave encashment salary and special provident fund in connection with his service as Senior Inspector in the Department of Co-operative Societies.

2.Pending writ petition, the petitioner has passed away on 11.11.2018.

3.Mr.K.S.Selvaganesan, learned Additional Government Pleader places on record a copy of the proceedings in Rc.No.436/2013 Estt., dated 17.09.2019 to the effect that all the terminal benefits of the petitioner including leave encashment salary and special provident https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.14902 of 2018 fund have been paid over to his wife on account of the petitioner's expiry.
